Joan Gómez Alemany

Professional pianist and art student, Joan Gómez Alemany learned composition with Oliver Rappoport and received guidance from Mark André, Pierluigi Billone, Raphaël Cendo, Hèctor Parra, Stefan Prins, Yann Robin, Jorge Sánchez-Chiong, Mauricio Sotelo and others.

He has taken part in a wide range of festivals and master classes including the Impuls Academy 2017, the Mixtur festival in 2016 et 2017, the Barcelona Modern Project Course in 2017 and 2016, the 4th Electroacoustic Music Conference 2016 at the Katarina Gurska conservatory in Madrid where he met the professors Trevor Wishart and Adolfo Nuñez. His music has been performed by groups such as Multilatérale, Schallfeld, Morphosis, in Austria, France, Spain, and the United States.
