Clara Iannotta

Clara Iannotta studied flute, writing, and composition at the conservatory in Rome, then at conservatory in Milan with lessandro Solbiati, and at the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris with Fréderic Durieux. Clara Iannotta followed the Cursus program at IRCAM (2010-2011) and has participated in various sessions on compostion. Ianotta has won several competitions and received many international scholarships. She was in residence in Berlin in 2013 at the DAAD. In 2014, she began a PhD in composition at Harvard University. Radio France, the Ensemble intercontemporain, the Festival d’Automne à Paris, the Festival Pontino, and the WDR for the Witten Festival have commissioned works from her. In 2017, she taught music theory at Harvard University.
