Benoît Sitzia

After studying the classical guitar and organ, Benoît Sitzia began a program in musical culture and composition at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional d’Annecy with Jean-Pascal Chaigne. He continued at the conservatory in Reims with Daniel D’Adamo and then at the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris with Stefano Gervasoni. Since 2014, he has been at the head of the association Réponses XX-XXI (founded with the playwright and actress Éléonore Dupraz) and co-founded the Forum international de création musicale et théâtrale to promote the music and theater of today. He founded and leads the Collège Contemporain that brings together composers, performers, and musicologists in innovative projects.
