Ariadna Alsina Tarrés (Spain, 1980) has studied under Luis Naón, José Manuel López López, Horacio Vaggione, Christine Groult, and Martin Matalon in addition to following several master classes in Barcelona, Helsinki, and Paris with Hèctor Parra, Kaija Saariaho, and others. The malleability of sound material in her compositions is her main focus; she works on the sonorous object, its composition and its different forms, as well as researching timbre. She is interested in mixed and interdisciplinary projects.
